A major concentration in German
Students graduating with a major in German will have acquired a command of the German language for use in academic and/or professional life. They will have become acquainted with the culture of the German-speaking countries and with the role these countries and their culture have historically played and continue to play in the world today.

A minor concentration in German

Major concentrations in language/German with business (international business — language intensive)
Students graduating with a major in international business — language intensive will be able to demonstrate a command of German for use in business and professional life, will understand the historical and cultural development of the countries of that language, and will understand the business practices and economic structure of those countries.

Major in Elementary Education with a K-8 Specialty in German Language and Culture

Major in German with a Co-Major in Secondary Education

Major concentration in German with English
Literary Studies

Courses for the non-major
to fulfill the Language and Culture component of the core curriculum.
